Made for screenwriters by screenwriters.

Slugbuds is a small, curated way to find a writing partner. Not a feed. Not a Discord. You apply. A human reads your application, helps build your writing profile, and introduces you to people who might actually be a fit.

We’re starting with a first cohort of 100 paid applicants so we can do this carefully. If that fills, the same application waitlists you for the next one.

The usual rooms are a slog.

The subreddits, discords, threads, and bad writers’ groups are a nightmare. Trying to find community in the comments feels impossible. Users are anonymous and feedback is impersonal.

You don’t need another thread. You need real people to write with who match your vibe.

So we pick the intros.

You tell us who you are and what you’re working on. We read it. We introduce you to people who might actually want the same kind of room. No scrolling a server. No hoping a post stays up until the right person sees it.
