We collect what you put on the application: contact details, birthday, a current project title and pitch, comps you choose, how you like to work, what you’re looking for in a collaborator, and a writing sample. Searching for comps looks up titles and posters in a film and TV database. We also receive payment metadata from Stripe (not your full card number).

We use that information to review applications, assign cohort seats, email you, and make introductions. We do not sell your data. Partner-preference answers are used only to help us suggest intros you are more likely to want. They are not used to exclude people from Slugbuds itself.

Applications are stored in our database. Writing-sample PDFs are stored privately and shared with the operator via a time-limited link. Payment is handled by Stripe. Email is sent through our email provider.
